dreams_of_him about her dear friend, Julie who has had a multitude of health issues. Doris says...She has had another intestinal bleed.
They are going to do path on the blood; they don't know what the cause of the bleeding is.
They want to remove her colon to stop the bleeding (perhaps the tisse is damaged from radiation and is so compromised that it's falling apart...).
This is not a good sign at all.
She's been through so much...I just pray this is not a recurrence and that they can get her fixed up in a hurry. Without surgery.
Please say a prayer for her.
LiveJournal has recently been blocked at the facility where Doris works so she asked if I would post this and ask people for prayers for Julie.

About mid-morning I got up and went to the bathroom. I have a small house. The hall from the Great Room is probably less than 20 feet. I was in the bathroom less than 3 minutes. I opened the door and noticed, in the middle of the hall, a snake. He was probably 4 feet long and patterned.
I had one thing to say..."KEITH!!!"
This seems to happen every summer. Why do snakes want to come into my house? How do snakes keep getting in my house? Why do my dog and cat not earn their keep? Neither of them seemed aware of his presence.
I believe that every creature has a beauty and a purpose; may the Lord bless and keep all snakes...far away from me. I'm all for live and let live and not harming any living creature, but, seriously? You stay outside and I'll stay inside, m'k?

She was Tsunade from Naruto last Halloween and I bought the costume online. Well, there is a Ryuk costume for sale online...for $199. Not happening; I don't care how many extra chores she does.
I don't sew. The base of the costume is easy...black leggings, long sleeve black tee shirt. Everything else...um...help?
